Eugreen Farms/ Eugreen Extracts

Dual Website Project for Eugreen Farms/Extracts

Eugreen Organics asked Flying Squid Design to create two websites for them to showcase their two lines of products. Cannabis flower and Cannabis extracts. They had also asked us to create a locator map for them so the people who are looking for their products can find a dispensary near them that has it. We linked each listing to the respective ordering pages. Check their site regularly for updates and the latest drops. The challenge they face is social media will often ban cannabis-related profiles and they wanted an independent site to keep their customers informed.

Preserve Oregon Dispensary

Website Design, Development, & Maintenance

Preserve Oregon is our longest-standing client. We have been working together since 2019 when I first built their website. Since then we have been adding content, making regular changes, writing blogs, updating staff bios, and maintaining site integrity. Devin met them by working as a budtender and when he started his website business they were his second client. The business relationship that we have built over the years is priceless and a great sense of mutual value comes from such a relationship.

Mosswood Bakehouse

Website Design, Development, & eCommerce. Logo Design & Branding

Mosswood Bakehouse, a confectionery in Micanopy, Florida hired Flying Squid to build their eCommerce website. The site features an online ordering system for all of their delightful confections as well as a custom cake ordering system that allows the customer to choose their own toppings, frosting, and base. This site had a sentimental value to Devin as Micanopy is his early childhood hometown. Mosswood also asked Flying Squid to design their logo to reflect the hometown feel and show their connection with nature as they have beautiful permaculture gardens out behind the bakery.

Two Farms One Dream

Website Design & Subscription

Two Farms One Dream is a vegetable farm in Florida that offers a composting service and sells its produce at the local farmer’s markets in Gainesville, Florida. 2 Farms hired Flying Squid to build a website that would have a subscription service sign-up and payment portal. all of their existing clients had to be imported as well as making it easy for new clients to sign up, make payments, and manage their accounts from the website. We built the subscription service in a way that would minimize the amount of time the good folks at 2 Farms would have to spend managing the process so they could focus on running their farms and businesses. this client was a referral from another client of ours, Southern Sun CBD

Southern Sun CBD

SEO & Content Enhancement

Southern Sun CBD is a hemp farmer in Alachua, Florida. They hired Flying Squid to enhance the SEO of their existing eCommerce website. They faced a very common issue in that they had very limited visibility online.  Their site wasn’t even indexed by the major search engines and there wasn’t any on-site SEO, no backlinks, no image alt description, and minimal relevant content. Flying Squid brought their site security and performance up to Google and Bing standards as well as getting the site indexed and the content enhanced for relevance to search queries. We acquired this client by talking to them at their Farmer’s Market booth in Gainesville, Florida.

Munecas Taco Garden

Website Development & Logo Design

Munecas Taco Garden in Gainesville, Florida was one of our first clients. Devin acquired them by frequenting their restaurant and telling the owner how much he loved their tacos. When he mentioned that he builds websites they asked if he also designs logos. Their logo is an original illustration and a prime example of the total branding services. They had asked for their website to reflect the South Florida/Asian/Mexican fusion menu. The Art Deco style and bold colors are the way we accomplished their goal. Munecas has since asked us to update their site and menu. Their logo was seen right in the heart of downtown Gainesville at the Bo Diddly Plaza for many years until they recently moved to the 4th Street food court. Gainesville is Devin’s later childhood hometown so this was a great accomplishment for him to have one of his logos become a highly visible downtown focal point.

Duncan James Calver, PsyD

Logo Design and Letterhead

Dr. Calver hired Flying Squid to design his logo for his private practice. He asked for a somewhat accurate depiction of the human brain cradled by two hands. He asked for one side to be multicolored and expressive, and the other side with a checkerboard to represent the two hemispheres of the brain. The creative and the analytical.  Flying Squid was also tasked with creating his letterhead which is now present on all of his forms and letters. Duncan is an old dear friend of Devin’s and has been known to push past defenses to get to the root of an issue.

Informational Graphics

Tour Forensics is a touring management agency that has among its clients The Four Seasons. They hired us to design a creative informational graphic asset. They wanted a diagram that showed the wide array of services they offer in a creative layout. We had the idea to make it look like a Forensics flow chart. Their logo is the handprint so we used fingerprints as markers of the individual categories with subcategories branching off. This commission was a lot of fun to work on as it was challenging.
